Signing ceremony for the KAAN activities

On May 27, 2024, Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) Nepal Office arranged for the signing ceremony for the KAAN activities 2024, including the Hospital Support Program and Website Upgradation Program.

🏥 KOICA-KAAN Hospital Support Program
This year, KAAN, with the support of KOICA, is assisting Benighat Basic Hospital in Benighat Rorang Rural Municipality. An agreement was signed between KAAN, Benighat Rorang Rural Municipality, and Himalayan Medicine Distributors. Through this initiative, KAAN is supporting the provision of 17 different medical equipment items to enhance the hospital’s service delivery, with a total support number of NRs. 1,764,085.50. The agreement was officially signed by KAAN President Mr. Nabaraj Gautam, Chief Administrative Officer Ms. Narbada Ghimire, and Proprietor Mr. Dinesh Thapa, on behalf of KOICA Deputy Country Director Ms. Jeong-eun Song.

🖥 KAAN Website Upgradation Program
An agreement to upgrade the KAAN website was also signed by Mr. Nabaraj Gautam, President of KAAN, and Mr. Rajin Upreti, Manager of Intellisoft Nepal Pvt. Ltd., with Ms. Jeong-eun Song witnessing the signing. The new website, set to launch by the end of June, will feature an improved online membership process and updated information about the KAAN executive committee formed in November 2023, along with details on new KAAN activities..

KOICA Nepal office signed a medical journalism material support agreement and website upgrade agreement to support the activities of the Returning Trainees Alumni (KAAN) on Monday, May 27th.

🏥 KOICA-KAAN HOSPITAL SUPPORT PROGRAM
This year KAAN is supporting Benighat Basic Hospital located in Benighat Rorang Local Municipality under the support of KOICA. Agreement was signed between KAAN, Benighat Rorang Local Government and Himalayan Pharmaceutical Distributors to supply 17 types of medical equipment to Dong Hospital. KAAN will contribute to the improvement of healthcare services in marginalized areas by funding a total of NPR 1,764,085.50 through the respective programs. The agreement was signed by KAAN President Nabaraj Gautam, Administrative In charge Narbada Ghimire, Dinesh Thapa (Proprietor) on behalf of Deputy Chief of Nepal Office.

🖥 KAAN Website Upgrade Program
On the same day, contract for website upgrade was signed between KAAN President Nabaraj Gautam and Manager Rajin Upreti of Intellisoft Nepal Pvt. Ltd. The new website is scheduled to launch in late June and will post updates on the KAAN Executive Committee formed in November 2023 as well as improving the online membership process. Thank you.
